Reviews run for a minimum of one week. The outcome of the review is decided on this date. This is the last day to make comments or ask questions about this review.
The Eclipse BIRT project is no longer operating as a Top Level project and so will be demoted to a Technology subproject.
Upon successful completion of this review, we will:
- Invalidate the Eclipse BIRT Top Level Project Charter; and
- Reconfigure Eclipse BIRT as a Technology subproject.
The impact on the development team and community should be minimal, as these changes are constrained to our database.
The practical impact is:
- The project's id will change from birt to technology.birt;
- The id change will impact the URL in the PMI (the old URLs will continue to work);
- The id change will impact the location of the project in the hierarchy in IPZilla;
- Bugzilla categorization will change.
No changes are required for the project-related source code repositories and Bugzilla product.
