Eclipse TeXlipse

LaTeX is a typesetting system that is widely used by the science community for document preparation and publications. The TeXlipse project provides an Eclipse extension to support LaTex projects, so that document preparation can be incorporated into the normal Eclipse development activities. General LaTeX users will also find the advanced editing and automatic document generation features of TeXclipse provide a compelling alternative to other LaTeX environments. TeXclipse supports the following features:

Eclipse Thym

Mobile applications are no longer optional but they're an imperative. The first issue faced by developers and organizations when developing mobile applications is that there are competing mobile application ecosystems to develop for. Not only they need to be competent on these platforms, API sets, programming languages and tools but also they need versions optimized for phone, tablet smart TV, smart watch and smart glasses etc..

Eclipse tinydtls

tinydtls is a library for Datagram Transport Layer Security (DTLS) covering both the client and the server state machine. It is implemented in C and provides support for the mandatory cipher suites specified in CoAP.

Eclipse Titan

Titan is a TTCN-3 compilation and execution environment with an  Eclipse-based IDE. The user of the tool can develop test cases, test execution logic and build the executable test suite for several platforms.

Eclipse Tools for Cloud Foundry

Eclipse Tools for Cloud Foundry (CFT) provide an extensible framework and common UI to deploy applications to different Cloud Foundry targets, and it is a framework that closely integrates with Web Tools Platform (WTP) and Eclipse. It allows application scaling and services management from the same Eclipse-based IDE where applications are developed. Applications can also be debugged on Cloud Foundry using the built-in Eclipse debugger. This makes it very convenient for developers to work on applications running on CF.

Eclipse Trace Compass

Eclipse Trace Compass is an open source application for viewing and analyzing any type of logs or traces. Its goal is to provide views, graphs, metrics, and more to help extract useful information from traces, in a way that is more user-friendly and informative than huge text dumps.

More details about Trace Compass can be found here.

Eclipse Triquetrum

Eclipse Triquetrum delivers an open platform for managing and executing scientific workflows. The goal of Triquetrum is to support a wide range of use cases, ranging from automated processes based on predefined models, to replaying ad-hoc research workflows recorded from a user's actions in a scientific workbench UI. It will allow to define and execute models from personal pipelines with a few steps to massive models with thousands of elements.

Eclipse UML Generators

UML Generators Project provides components that automatically bridge the gap between UML models and source code. Either by extracting data from UML models (and UML profiles or decoration models) to produce source code or  by reverse-engineering source code to produce UML models.

Code generation uses Acceleo. It is incremental and can be extended thanks to its overriding system.

Eclipse UML Profiles Repository

The modeling facilities of Eclipse are an essential part of Eclipse's annual release trains. The Eclipse Modeling Framework and associated projects, like UML2, OCL, QVTo etc., are integrated into several tools both commercial and open source. In particular the UML2 project is one of the most important implementation of the corresponding OMG UML 2.4 specification.

Eclipse Unide

Eclipse Unide provides a lightweight Production Performance Management Protocol (PPMP) server-client implementations (using JSON, REST and other). The core of the protocol are two interface definitions:

  • PPMP Measurement Interface: This is a public REST API with the purpose of receiving time series and machine data.
  • PPMP Messages Interface: This is a public REST API with the purpose of receiving machine messages.

Eclipse UOMo

UOMo adds Units of Measurement support for IT Systems and Services both to common programming languages like Java and Data Exchange standards like UCUM and formats including UnitsML, SensorML, MathML, general XML or JSON.

Eclipse USS SDK

The Eclipse USS SDK will provide a Java implementation of the USS REST API to allow for easy use of the USS by Eclipse Foundation projects. The USS SDK will also handle the authentication and login capabilities required to use the USS from an Eclipse installation.

Eclipse VIATRA

The Eclipse VIATRA framework supports the development of model transformations with specific focus on event-driven, reactive transformations. Building upon the incremental query support, VIATRA offers a language to define transformations and a reactive transformation engine to execute certain transformations upon changes in the underlying model.

Eclipse Vorto

The Vorto project comprises of the meta information model, the tool set to create information models, the code generators and the repository to manage existing information models. The meta information model and also the tool set are based on the Eclipse EMF (Eclipse Modeling Framework) framework.

Eclipse Wakaama

Wakaama provides APIs for a server application to send commands to registered LWM2M Clients. On client applications, Wakaama checks received commands for syntax and access rights and then dispatches them to the relevant objects.

Eclipse Web Tools Platform Project

The Eclipse Web Tools Platform (WTP) project extends the Eclipse platform with tools for developing Web and Java EE applications. It includes source and graphical editors for a variety of languages, wizards and built-in applications to simplify development, and tools and APIs to support deploying, running, and testing apps.

Eclipse Whiskers

Whiskers is an OGC SensorThings API framework consisting of a JavaScript client and a light-weight server for IoT gateways (e.g., Raspberry Pi). The SensorThings API is an OGC (Open Geospatial Consortium) standard that allows IoT (Internet of Things) devices and their data to be connected; a major goal is to foster a healthy and open IoT ecosystem, as opposed to one dominated by proprietary information silos.

Eclipse WindowBuilder

Eclipse WindowBuilder is composed of Eclipse SWT Designer and Eclipse Swing Designer and makes it very easy to create Java GUI applications without spending a lot of time writing code. Use the WYSIWYG visual designer and layout tools to create simple forms to complex windows; the Java code will be generated for you. Easily add controls using drag-and-drop, add event handlers to your controls, change various properties of controls using a property editor, internationalize your app and much more.

Eclipse Winery

Eclipse Winery is a web-based environment to graphically model TOSCA topologies and plans managing these topologies. The environment includes a type and template management component to offer creation and modification of all elements defined in the TOSCA specification. All information is stored in a repository, which allows importing and exporting using the TOSCA packaging format.

Eclipse Xtext

Eclipse Xtext is a framework for development of programming languages and domain specific languages. It covers all aspects of a complete language infrastructure, from parsers, over linker, compiler or interpreter to fully-blown top-notch Eclipse IDE integration. It comes with good defaults for all these aspects and at the same time every single aspect can be tailored to your needs.
