Criteria
Simone has been an active committer on Jetty for over a decade, with over 3000 commits of almost a million lines of code. He has become a well respected architect of the project and is consulted by all the other contributors and project leads on most major developments.
The project has 3 project leaders already, but 2 of them are currently only partially available. Thus it would be ideal to have Simone to join the leadership team to guide the project.

That being said, I wholly support Simone in this capacity. I believe projects typically only have 2 representatives and this would bring us up to 4. The powers that be may want us to review the membership of the leads but that should be a separate concern to this vote. |
