Election for Manuel Fehlhammer as Committer on Eclipse Safe Open Vehicle Core

Role Type
Criteria

We hereby nominate Manuel Fehlhammer for the Eclipse Committer Election.

Manuel is a senior software engineer with extensive expertise and experience.
He has long been one of the masterminds behind the Adaptive AUTOSAR Platform at BMW and was one of the key contributors to the development of the Adaptive AUTOSAR communication middleware (ara:com) within the AUTOSAR consortium.

His experience and expertise served as the foundation for the creation of the communication IPC called LoLa, which was contributed to the S-CORE project earlier this year.

Below is a list of Manuel’s contributions to the S-CORE communication module:

Manuel is also regularly leading Communication Feature Team Meetings, e.g.:
- https://github.com/orgs/eclipse-score/discussions/1726
- https://github.com/orgs/eclipse-score/discussions/1704

Unfortunately, Manuel was not initially nominated as a committer to the S-CORE project for the communication module at the project’s inception, as BMW representatives were not yet fully familiar with the Eclipse Foundation’s processes and the Eclipse Handbook.

We kindly request that Manuel Fehlhammer be nominated as a committer for the Eclipse Safe Open Vehicle Core project to enable his continued active development and contributions to the project.
