Election for Nils Hoppe as Committer on Eclipse Safe Open Vehicle Core

Nominee
Role Type
Criteria

We hereby nominate Nils Hoppe for the Eclipse Committer Election.

Nils is a senior software engineer at BMW with extensive expertise and experience.

He was one of the core developers and architects of the logging/datarouter module, which was initially developed by BMW and has recently been contributed to the S-CORE project:

Nils is regularly participating in Logging Feature Team meetings, e.g.:
- https://github.com/orgs/eclipse-score/discussions/2278
- https://github.com/orgs/eclipse-score/discussions/2235

Currently, there is no one within the S-CORE project with the necessary expertise to review and merge pull requests for the C++ part of the logging/datarouter module/repository. Therefore, we kindly request that Nils be granted Committer rights. In the context of the S-CORE project, we treat initial module contributions similarly to the creation of a new Eclipse project.

Please note that merge rights for S-CORE modules are additionally regulated by the CODEOWNERS file, which enables the S-CORE project to assign Committers to the module repositories for which they are responsible. For more details, please refer to:
