The Eclipse Continuum Interest Group brings together researchers, industry experts, and developers in an open source community to advance the discussion of seamless computing infrastructures spanning cloud, edge, IoT, and far-edge environments. The group focuses on interoperability, orchestration, workload portability, security, and data management across the computing continuum.
By fostering collaboration on global trends, latest advances, open standards, open source technologies, and reference architectures, the Interest Group aims to accelerate innovation, promote digital sovereignty, and enable scalable, resilient, and sustainable distributed EU computing ecosystems for next-generation applications. As a result, the Interest Group aims to become an european reference on the continuum creating a strong open source continuum community.
