I would like to nominate Ryan Steel (@ryan-steel) as a committer for the Eclipse S-CORE project.
Ryan has made sustained and valuable contributions to the S-CORE Time module and has demonstrated a strong understanding of both the module itself and the surrounding S-CORE development infrastructure.
His contributions cover several important areas, including:
QNX and platform support, including enabling local QNX builds and contributing to the QNX-enabled development environment.
Build and CI infrastructure, including improvements to Bazel configurations, CI workflows, cache maintenance, and related development tooling.
Documentation and docs-as-code, including module documentation for time, time_daemon, time_slave, and ts_client, detailed-design migration, documentation bundles, and user manuals.
Consistency and maintainability, for example aligning Bazel configuration names with other S-CORE modules and improving the integration between documentation and compilable source examples.
Continuous maintenance of the Time repository, with recent contributions continuing to address workflows and project infrastructure. The current repository overview identifies a recent workflow fix by @ryan-steel.
Ryan has therefore contributed not only functionality but also to the quality, portability, documentation, and maintainability of the Time module.
Based on these contributions, I believe Ryan has demonstrated the technical understanding and continued involvement required to take on committer responsibilities within Eclipse S-CORE.
I strongly support his nomination as an Eclipse S-CORE committer.
