Election for Roland Jentsch as Committer on Eclipse Safe Open Vehicle Core

Nominee
Role Type
Criteria

Roland Jentsch has made an impact on the project.

He contributed mainly to the following three repositories:
process_description: https://github.com/eclipse-score/process_description/commits/main/?auth…
score: https://github.com/eclipse-score/score/commits/main/?author=RolandJents…
docs_as_code: https://github.com/eclipse-score/docs-as-code/commits/main/?author=Rola…

These commits brought him to position 4 of the contributor overview of the S-CORE project which can be found here: https://projects.eclipse.org/projects/automotive.score/who

He also opened issues, reviewed pull requests and lead discussions on SW architecture within the process community.

With his strong and many years background in software architecture and functional safety from product development, he will be a great addition to the team of committers of S-CORE.

It is my pleasure to nominate Roland Jentsch as a committer on Eclipse Safe Open Vehicle Core.

Lars Bauhofer 0 I will abstain from this election, as I do not work with Roland directly and therefore cannot assess his contributions based on day-to-day collaboration. From my initial review, the commits linked in the nomination appear mostly small and rather shallow in terms of content and impact. In my view, being promoted to committer status should not be based on quantity alone, but primarily on the quality and lasting value of the contributions. That said, I do want to thank Roland for his contributions and the effort he has put into supporting the project. For that reason, I will leave the evaluation to the colleagues who have worked closely with him on a regular basis and are in a better position to judge his overall contribution.
