Election for Ingolf Gehrhardt as Committer on Eclipse Tractus-X

Ingolf Gehrhardt has been an integral part of the Eclipse Tractus-X project since 2024, when he started engaging with the community through issue reports. His first pull request followed in July 2025, and since then his contributions have been impactful, as he actively participates in discussions and consistently enhances core projects through optimizations and improved code quality.

Ingolf is a research associate at Hochschule für Technik und Wirtschaft (HTW) Dresden, working in an IT environment that spans everything from cloud systems down to microcontrollers — programming, CI/CD, DevOps, and IT infrastructure setup and management. Within the Tractus-X ecosystem, his center of gravity is Kubernetes: Helm charts, deployment automation, and cluster infrastructure. He represents Semiconductor-X — an ecosystem of companies and associated partners — within the Tractus-X community, and his particular focus is cross-dataspace interoperability: making Tractus-X components work in an ecosystem of multiple, coexisting dataspaces.

Community Days & Workshops — Ingolf has attended the Tractus-X Community Days since 2024 (HE WAS THE FIRST PERSON FROM SEMICONDUTOR-X TO ACTUALLY DEPLOY THE UMBRELLA IN HIS LOCAL COMPUTER!). Since then he has been engaged in our community like never before!

TRG Compliance & Enforcement:

Ingolf has actively contributed to TRG compliance efforts, reinforcing best practices:
- Added Copyright and SPDX-License-Identifier headers to every new chart template of his Gateway API integration across tractusx-identityhub, ssi-dim-wallet-stub, tractusx-edc, and bpn-did-resolution-service (see PRs linked above), in line with the TRG legal-information requirements — for the new files this was done at the request of project maintainers so that a legal contact is identifiable for major changes

Ingolf's work has had a lasting impact on Tractus-X. As a committer, he will continue driving advancements and supporting the community with his Kubernetes and infrastructure-as-code expertise — particularly in the maintenance of the project's Helm charts and the development of cross-dataspaces capabilities — which is essential for this project's future.

He is such a motivated contributor and it is for me a honor to have him in the community. Specially is great to know that we get one more committer from another project rather than Catena-X.
