Role Type
Criteria

Tom Meyer (GitHub Username: tom-rm-meyer-ISST, Eclipse Username: tommeyerisst) is an active member, software engineer, and architect in the PURIS team and one of the developers of the PURIS demonstrator. He has also participated as a project contributor for the past few months. Tom participates in the DevSecOps office hours, if support is needed. In the following, some examples of active collaboration in the eclipse-tractusx project are shown.

He actively starts discussions for open topics and enhances the Tractus-X Release Guidelines (TRGs):
- Discussion: https://github.com/eclipse-tractusx/sig-infra/discussions/234
- PR: https://github.com/eclipse-tractusx/eclipse-tractusx.github.io/pull/371

His PRs are well-structured and understandable. He uses “Convential Commits” and signs his Commits with GPG keys. He links known issues and PRs accordingly to ensure traceability. Some examples:
- https://github.com/eclipse-tractusx/puris/pull/24
- https://github.com/eclipse-tractusx/puris/pull/29
- https://github.com/eclipse-tractusx/puris/pull/17
- https://github.com/eclipse-tractusx/puris/pull/15
- https://github.com/eclipse-tractusx/puris-backend/pull/29

He is familiar with open-source-related IP checks. He also follows TRGs on a regular basis. Some examples:
- https://github.com/eclipse-tractusx/puris/pull/26
- https://github.com/eclipse-tractusx/puris/pull/28

Furthermore, he actively participates in the semantic modeling team, where he also follows the open-source spirit by supporting others: https://github.com/eclipse-tractusx/sldt-semantic-models/issues/271

I am happy to be able to nominate Tom Meyer as a Committer on Eclipse Tractus-X!
