This is a minor release which includes only changes and enhancements which are backwards compatible. Users should be able to deploy 1.3.0 as a drop-in replacement for an existing Hono 1.x installation.
Hono is implemented as a set of micro services. The primary artifacts are Docker images which can be deployed to arbitrary container orchestration frameworks. In particular, Hono supports deployment to Kubernetes, OpenShift by means of a Helm chart available from the Eclipse IoT Packages project.
