Binguang (Ethan) Zhao of Alibaba has more than 10 years experience with CPU verification, and has deep knowledge of how to build a state-of-the-art instruction sequence generator. He has been contributing to the OpenHW Group "FORCE-RISCV" instruction sequence generator project since 2022. He has helped to upgrade its build system, reconstruct the "Handcar" API and fix bugs. Binguang is also the current acting maintainer for the FORCE-RISCV GitHub repository.
In addition to the above, Binguang is involved in the following related activities:
- Acting chair of the OpenHW FORCE-RISCV VTG, responsible to arrange meetings, maintain the future plan .etc.
- Acting chair of RVI Simulator SIG, responsible for the charter definition and routine maintenance work.
This experience makes Binguang well suited for the role of OpenHW Group Committer.
