Mike Thompson is nominating Riccardo Giunti of Fondazione Chips-IT to be a Committer on the OpenHW CORE-V project. In his role as a CORE-V Committer Riccardo will be most active in CVFPU development.

Since completing his Master's Degree in Electronic Engineering at Politecnico di Torino, Riccardo has worked STMicroelectronics as Front End Architect. In September of 2025 he joined Fondazione Chips-IT and started working on OpenHW "cvfpu" repository, using the UVM testbench in the"cvfpu-uvm" repository to verify multiple Pull-Request.

Riccardo has also contributed to the "cvfpu-uvm" environment by providing a multi-tool patch for simulation with Xcelium and VCS in addition to Questasim.
