The Eclipse USS SDK provides a Java implementation of the USS REST API to allow for easy use of the Eclipse User Storage Service (USS) by Eclipse Foundation projects. The USS SDK handles the authentication and login capabilities required to use the USS from an Eclipse installation.
Eclipse SW360 is a software catalogue application designed to provide a central place for sharing information about software components used by an organization. It is designed to neatly integrate into existing infrastructures related to the management of software artifacts and projects by providing separate backend services for distinct tasks and a set of portlets to access these services. A complete deployment unit exists (vagrant box or docker container) that contains a complete configuration of all services and portlets.
The Eclipse ioFog set of technologies is a fog computing layer that can be installed on any hardware running Linux. Once installed, it provides a universal runtime for microservices to run on the edge. In addition to a common runtime, ioFog also provides a set of useful services including a message bus, dynamic configuration of the microservices, and remote debugging.
LSP4J is a Java implementation of VSCode's language server protocol intended to be consumed by tools and language servers implemented in Java.
Capra provides traceability features. In essence, it allows the creation of trace links between arbitrary artefacts, as long as an adapter for these artefacts is available. This way, a trace link can be created between EMF model elements, source code files supported by the Eclipse Platform (e.g., Java, C, Python), or tasks from an issue tracking system supported by Eclipse Mylyn. External artefacts for which the Eclipse Platform does not offer built-in support can also be linked if a fitting adapter is provided.
StatET is an Eclipse-based IDE for R.
Eclipse Kapua is a modular integration platform for IoT devices and smart sensors that bridges Operation Technology with Information Technology.
Eclipse Scanning allows experiments to be conducted by coordinating the operation of scientific instruments, for example motors or detectors. It sequences the movements of these instruments (or devices) in order to scan different parts of the experimental space. For instance you might scan a temperature controller to conduct an experiment at different temperatures or move a goniometer through a range of optical angles or combine the two in a two dimensional scan. Scanning is useful as an open source project because the algorithms which complete scans during experiments are the same in many areas of research. Hardware is experiment specific so scanning algorithms can be used in many settings, whereever electronically controlled hardware does automated experiments.
EclEmma is a free Java code coverage tool for Eclipse that brings code coverage analysis directly into the Eclipse workbench.
Papyrus-xtUML is a tool that supplies the capability to edit, execute and translate xtUML models. Executable, translatable UML (xtUML) is an extension to UML based upon the Shlaer-Mellor Method of Model-Driven Architecture (MDA), which supports a powerful approach to Model-Driven Development (MDD). Papyrus-xtUML provides the system design community with access to xtUML editing, execution and translation capabilities, along with a forum to advance the use of this methodology.
