- Enter a comments in compare editor and save it to generate a Gerrit Draf comment
- Editor: use a tabular display
- Editor: Allow to open another editor by double clicking the entry in the related changes, same topic and conflict with tables

- Dashboard: Show the status of the selected Gerrit server,
- Dashboard: Select from a list of Gerrit server the user is performing reviews
- Dashboard: allow to enter a search query by entering a review link. This will create the link to the Gerrit server and allow the user to see the files under review in the editor. If the user wants to add comments, then he has to identify himself by selecting the gerrit server and enter his credentials.
- Dahboard: Keep track of the last 5 queries
Since this is the initial release, the EGerrit is supporting Gerrit server from 2.9 and later
EGerrit is tested with the Neon and Mars releases of Eclipse. It is also know to work with Luna but it is not officially tested. The minimum JAVA compliance version is 1.7.
