This is a feature release, with the focus on adding the ability to create reproducible RPMs.
Providing the same input data should, ideally, result in the exact same output. This was currently not the case, but now added in this release.
There are no known security issues.
Java 17 has been added to the CI. Java 8 is still kept. As long as it still works with Java 8, there is no need to drop it.
As this is a working piece of code, and both RPM and Debian packages don't really evolve, there is not much to do on the project itself. Still, all content from this release was brought by contributors which had been new to the project.
