Laurent Schoelens has been actively involved with Eclipse JAXB-impl and Highsource JAXB-tools (https://github.com/highsource/jaxb-tools) for some years now. For Eclipse JAXB-impl specifically, he has contributed numerous pull requests (see https://github.com/eclipse-ee4j/jaxb-ri/pulls/laurentschoelens).
He has proven his experience with and dedication to this project as well as to the whole JAXB ecosystem and he would be a great addition to the team.
