Mario Alberto Ortegon Cabrera has been a very active and contributing member of the Eclipse SDV community.
He mentored and help other committers with his reviews and guidance to provide other pull requests as well. Mario has shown initiative and commitment to both SDV and SDV blueprints and will make a valuable long term addition to our committers list.
He has been actively involved in the creation multiple SDV project such as Eclipse Charriot and Ibeji as well as other.
He provided SDV challenges for the SDV hackathons in 2002 and 2023 and acted as a mentor.

In SDV Blueprints project, Mario will be leading the SDV Insurance Blueprint. He prepared and submitted the initial Insurance Blueprint
(please see https://github.com/eclipse-sdv-blueprints/blueprints/issues/8).
He also promoted and actively sought contributions and committers from Insurance companies to make this blueprint a reality (@annmin @jafdeveer from HDI)
Since the proposal he has provided the initial contributions to the SDV Insurance blueprint in the form of pull-requests, as well as helping other contributors to submit their own pull-request. You can review the pull-requests that here:
