Eclipse openPASS 0.7 Release Review

Changes in this release:

The structure of the file system has been restructured.

We´re now able to interpret urban scenarios of openSCENARIO and openDRIVE files.

We can now spawn on multiple lanes.

The logging mechanism has been changed to a publish/subscribe pattern and is outputted in a csv

We´ve now a new collision module available.

We´re now able to compile with cmake.

The code has been cleaned up and there where some bug fixes.


API Certification

The project leadership certifies that the APIs in this release are "Eclipse Quality".

Security Issues

Since this is a simulation platform we´ve no security issues which have to be addressed.

Usability Details

This simulation tool is for experts. Therefore, the usability for users of beginner level isn´t the focus at the moment. We plan to increase the usablity for major release 1.0.

End of Life

The GUI was reduced to be compatible with the current simulation core.
