Scott Marlow has been involved with JPA since he was a member of the JCP JPA expert group. Under Jakarta he has done work with both the JPA specification and JPA TCK. Recent JPA PRs include:

They have also made numerous changes to the JPA TCK for the Jakarta EE 11 platform TCK, and continues to evolve the TCK for Jakarta EE 12.
