There were contributions from twelve during the development of JSR 371. Currently, there are seven committers from several organizations. The contributions so far have been mostly from the project leads. This is due to the transition to Eclipse Foundation and the decision to release version 1.1 under the JESP that is on the javax.* namespace without any changes from MVC 1.0 (JSR 371). Version 2.0 will still be unchanged except the namespace switch from javax.* to jakarta.*. When the work on new functionality after version 2.0 commences, we expect more community involvement. - Operation in the open using open source rules of engagement
Contributions are welcome from everyone. All communication is done on the public mailing list and GitHub repositories. All committers are there based on their contributions to JSR 371 (before moving to Eclipse Foundation) or Jakarta MVC.
