Bill Wigger was supposed to be invited as an "initial committer" when the EE4J Tyrus project was first proposed. For whatever reason, this was not processed correctly. I am now submitting a vote to get Bill properly participating as a Committer. Bill has been involved with the WebSphere implementation of WebSocket since it's inception. He has contributed to the JSR expert group during the development of WebSocket 1.0 and 1.1. Bill's insights on an independent compatible implementation will be valuable to this team.

Usually we follow unwritten rule that candidate has already few (3-5) approved and imerged contributions to the project before commiter nomination, but in this case we can make an exception. |
