This is the first official release for Eclipse Capra, an open source traceability management tool.
The release contains a stable Eclipse Capra core API, a generic traceability metamodel that allows users to create trace links of type "RelatedTo", as well as a visualization feature that is based on PlantUML and can display traceability graphs and matrices. Additionally, this version of Eclipse Capra generates notifications when artefacts connected by trace links are modified. Through dedicated artefact handlers, this version of Eclipse Capra supports creating trace links to artifacts of the following types:
- EMF models
- UML models
- Papyrus models
- GEF models
- Requirements in ReqIf format
- Java source code (classes, methods, packages)
- C/C++ source code (files, functions, classes)
- PHP source code
- Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel documents as well as Google Docs and Sheets
- Builds in Hudson and Jenkins (via Mylyn)
- Issues in Jira, Trac, and Bugzilla (via Mylyn)
- Feature models using FeatureIDE
- Markers within the Eclipse IDE
- Arbitrary files in the workspace
