Highlights of this release
Gemini Blueprint 2.0.0 updates to Spring 4.2.x. and Java 1.7+
The project leadership certifies that the APIs in this release are "Eclipse Quality".
No architectural changes are introduced in this project. The project's major issue remains a valuable, but very old test code base relying on a custom OSGi testing container framework. This will be adressed by migrating to OSMORC in the future.

The user documentation is still up-to-date, but contains many references to spring-osgi that may no longer be of interest and can be discarded in the future. The maven build currently requires maven 3.0.x as it relies on outdated maven features.
This release no longer supports outdated Spring versions < 4.2.
