Paul Gooderham recently started contributing to the Eclipse LSP4Jakarta, the Language Server for Jakarta EE team and has already made an impact on the project.
They have addressed the following bug:
- Remove ctrl-m characters from properties files (https://github.com/eclipse/lsp4jakarta/issues/321)
They have also mentored student contributors for the Eclipse LSP4Jakarta project. The group held online meetings weekly to manage the writing of a component to analyze Jakarta programs and to provide diagnostics and other help to software developers. As a mentor, Paul reviewed the code submissions, provided advice and approved the submissions for inclusion in the Eclipse LSP4Jakarta project. See https://canosp.ca/2021/12/10/w22-projects.
