The project leadership certifies that the APIs in this release are "Eclipse Quality".
There are no architectural changes in this release. Work is happening behind the scenes to support the new IDE architecture with the Language Server Protocol and Debug Adapter Protocol. It is undecided at this point what will happen to the existing components that offer the same functionality. We are a long way from reaching feature parity with these new components and will not switch to the new architecture until we're much closer.

Work continues on supporting the C++-17 and only minor work supporting the new C standards.
We started up the monthly conference calls again in hope to keep that channel the community.
Doug has written articles on the new IDE architecture and our support for Visual Studio Code. As of now, these have not attracted new contributions beyond a few from Ericsson on the new debug adapter.
But we do have a new committer Marco who has been focused on editor and Codan improvements which is much welcomed.
