This document describes the EMF Query 1.8.0 release in the Luna Simultaneous Release. This marks the ninth consecutive year that EMF Query has had a June release for the Eclipse Simultaneous Release. This is a minor maintenance release that maintains compatibility with the Eclipse platform and the other dependent projects in the yearly release.
The release review record is at https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=435818 and the approved IP log is attached to that Bugzilla.
The project leadership certifies that the APIs in this release are "Eclipse Quality".
There are no architectural issues.
There are no security issues.
There are no end of life issues.
