I would like to suggest we appoint Frederic as a committer on the Eclipse Marketplace Project. He will help us build an improved platform and also provide a better user experience for both the platform itself and the Eclipse Marketplace Client.
Even though Frederic has not made any formal contributions to the project itself yet, his strategic input has made our work on the Eclipse Marketplace Client noticeably better on several occasions in the past. He continuously helped us maintain the Marketplace Client behind the scenes and pushed the concepts that help us modernize the Client. Furthermore, Frederic has also proved extremely knowledgeable about web-based technologies when we discussed the new frontend.
In future, I hope that we can tap Frederic's know-how while we plan and implement the new user experience for our Eclipse Marketplace Client.
I am confident that the whole project will benefit from having Frederic formally on board as a committer.
