Description

Eclipse ORB 5.0.0 release will constitute releases for the associated ORB repositories too, as listed below:

  • Eclipse ORB CORBA 5.0.0
  • Eclipse ORB GMBAL 4.1.0
  • Eclipse ORB GMBAL PFL 5.1.0
  • Eclipse ORB GMBAL Commons 3.3.0

We made few changes in API including removal of some code deprecated for years. The most significant change is introduction of the JPMS, abandoning support for obsoleted Java versions and supporting new Java versions instead.
