David Raker has been instrumental in refactoring Eclipse VOLTTRON's driver framework. This involved restructuring driver to follow modular design, improving data collection mechanisms by introducing granular control on polling intervals for individual device data points. They have also upgraded the BACnet driver, updating it to use the latest BACpypes library, along with merging BACnet proxy agent to the main BACnet driver. These changes have been field tested on multiple office buildings.
They have addressed the following bugs:

They have also worked on creating Transactive Network Template (TENT) to enable buildings and it's assets to participate in utility markets for proving grid services. He is also involved in concrete implementation of OpenFMB standard with pilot demonstration using VOLTTRON.
It is my pleasure to nominate Dave Raker as a committer on Eclipse VOLTTRON.
