Frank Schnicke has been part of the Eclipse BaSyx development for over 5 years and is a committer since 2019. During this time he has contributed many important features and refactorings. He also contributed the design for BaSyx Java V2.

In addition, he handles the governance aspects of releases, manages the communication between the different BaSyx SDK teams and maintains the basyx-dev mailing list as well as the GitHub issues of basyx-java.

His influence goes beyond the codebase. He also represents BaSyx at conferences, workshops, meetings and in blog posts such as
