Maximilian played an important role in the emf.cloud project since the inception of this project.
Not only did he significantly contribute to the architecture design of the Coffee Editor and to the
coordination of its development, he also shaped the roadmap and design of many of the components
within emf.cloud, such as the model server, the tree editor and the jsonforms properties view.
He is continuously assessing the emf.cloud components, verifying whether their functionality and
architecture meet the requirements of current and future modeling tool development projects, based
on his more than 10 years of experience in developing industrial-quality modeling tools. More recently
he also significantly supported and mentored the ongoing work on model validation and other
potential future emf.cloud components, such as emf.cloud compare, etc.
Since the inception of emf.cloud, Maximilian is a key contributor to the dissemination of emf.cloud.
He gave several talks and introductions to emf.cloud at many EclipseCons and other conferences,
which crucially contributed to the increasing number of emf.cloud adopters.
For these reasons and the long-term outlook for his involvement on the team, it is my
pleasure to nominate Maximilian as a co-project lead on Eclipse EMF.cloud.
