Deliverables
The primary focus of the 7.0.0 release will be achieving Jakarta EE 10 compatible. Everything else comes secundairy to that goal.
We also intend to fix outstanding bugs, upgrade non-spec components, continue addressing JDK 17+ compatibility issues where needed, and carry out refactoring (especially of the some of the aging parts of the code base).
Adding new features such as JWT support for jakarta security are also in scope. Replacement of the admin console can be considered too (porting over the existing admin console code is an alternative)
