Jersey 3.x is no longer compatible with JAX-RS 2.1 API (JSR 370), rather it is compatible with Jakarta RESTful WebServices 3.x API. Therefore, we continue with Jersey 2.x, which remains compatible with JAX-RS 2.1 API.
