Matthias started contributing to Eclipse Hono™ several months ago and has made quite an impact on the project.

In particular, Matthias has implemented support for device authentication using signed JSON Web Tokens (JWT) which
allows devices that had originally been used with Google IoT Core to successfully connect and authenticate to Hono's MQTT and HTTP adapters.
