Compatibility
This release provides data compatibility with versions back to 1.2.0. It is a major version, and thus only gaurantees public API compatibility with future 4.x releases. It is binary compatible only with bug fix releases, e.g. 4.0.x.
Target Environments
This release targets Java 8, 11 and 17, Scala 2.12 and 2.13, Accumulo 2.0 and 2.1, HBase 1.4 and 2.5, Cassandra 3, Redis 5+, Hadoop 2.10 to 3.3, and Spark 3.3.
