How can I connect PDF viewers? I could not make evince work for example in eclipse oxygen (with Texlipse 2.0.0):

running: /usr/bin/evince "/home/ssardina/git/papers/17-HRPlanning.git/main-hrfp-ijcai18.pdf"

viewer> Failed to connect to Mir: Failed to connect to server socket: No such file or directory

Solved by adding an environment variable (DISPLAY to be :0) in the Environment/Viewer section under Preferences for the plugin. :-)

There is also a way to have evince do forward/backward navigation in the pdf.

Thanks for letting us know Sebastian.

I noticed that you've also used the issue tracker at https://github.com/eclipse/texlipse/issues. For these kind of things that is the correct approach. This comment system is for details related to the actual release process at the Eclipse Foundation. No harm done though :)
