Election for Desislav Petrov as Committer on Eclipse Collections

Desislav Petrov is actively involved in the Eclipse Collections project, as a contributor, user, and advocate. He has 29 commits on the Eclipse Collections Project. He has contributed features, bug fixes, and a massive migration effort of the Eclipse Collections project from JUnit 4.x to 5.x. This migration effort was one of my 5-year wish list items for the project that Desislav volunteered to take on. Desislav worked on the migration effort to JUnit 5.x with myself and Craig Motlin over the course of almost a year. He understood the challenges we face as maintainers having to review very large PRs, and he broke up the work into smaller pieces so the work could progress and be reviewed/merged at a slow, but eventual pace. As a result of his contributions to Eclipse Collections, Desislav is now a top 10 contributor on the project by number of commits, top 5 for additions, and top 2 for deletions.
As an Eclipse Collections maintainer, I am confident that his election to Committer status will help distribute the current workload that we have.
