Background

This project is created as part of the process of transitioning Oracle Java EE 8 and GlassFish technologies to the Eclipse Foundation as described in The Eclipse Enterprise for Java Project Top Level Project Charter (https://projects.eclipse.org/projects/ee4j/charter).

Scope

Eclipse Concurrency provides the API, reference implementation and TCK for Concurrency Utilities for JavaTM EE, starting from the specification defined by JSR-236.

Description

Concurrency Utilities for Java EE provides a simple, standardized API for using concurrency from application components without compromising container integrity while still preserving the Java EE platform's fundamental benefits.
