The 1.8.0 Release will move more logic out of the DomainModelReference into services. This is necessary to be able to change the way DomainModelReferences are described in version 2.0.0.
We also will deprecate old API and thus mark all classes that will be removed with the 2.0.0 release.
Additionally, the release focusses on stability and consolidation of APIs.
