The primary focus of this release will be as described above; no new features are planned and only patches for bug fixes will be accepted. High priority bugs will receive special attention and will be triaged as they are reported.
The last release focused on refactoring and fixing the Target Runtime framework (i.e. the classes that provide editor extensibility). This work is now considered complete, and no new regressions or bugs have been discovered. The plan for this release is to continue testing of the Target Runtime framework and focus only on blocking issues in order to minimize possible regressions.
Minor and cosmetic issues will be triaged and addressed if time allows.
The editor extensibility API will not be changed in this upcoming release.
This release is targeted at Eclipse Neon.
