The team plans to deliver the following features:
- Vehicle Application quickstart templates for Python and C++
- Vehicle Application development container base images with preinstalled tooling
- Vehicle Application Software Development Kits for Python and C++
- Vehicle model generator for Vehicle Signal Specification files which supports output of Python and C++ source code
- Velocitas CLI with the capabilities to install and upgrade additional or existing parts of the development environment of Velocitas Applications
- Velocitas Project Generator for project handover from the Digital Auto project
- Velocitas Project Packages for Local and Kubernetes based runtimes, VSCode devContainer setup, Github integration
- License Checker Github Action which scans repositories for used licenses and generates SBOM and license information for the scanned repositories
- User documentation (reference, examples, how-tos and concepts)
Compatibility
Compatibility to previous versions is not considered for this first release.
Internationalization
No efforts towards i18n are done in this release.
