The first official release of the Eclipse BaSyx Python SDK provides functionality for building Python 3.x applications to work with Asset Administration Shell data, according to the Asset Administration Shell (AAS) meta-model as described by "Details of the Asset Administration Shell (Part 1) v. 2.0.1".
It includes native Python classes for creating and manipulating AAS data as Python objects, serialization and deserialization functionality for working with the standardized XML, JSON and AASX file formats, and an additional "Backend" feature for synchronization with external data sources. In addition, a tool for checking standard compliance of serialized AAS data is provided.
