Thijs Miedema has been a great contributor to Eclipse Cyclone DDS™. His most biggest single contribution is the design and implementation of the Python mapping for DDS. He has also been instrumental in making sense of the OMG DDS XTypes specification, the implementation of which has been the focus of most of the work done in the past year and deeply affects the core of the project. He has provided the implementation for Python and done multi-language interoperability testing for it. He has also taken up the maintenance of the CI, reworked the documentation and the website and has been actively helping people solve issues.
