Eclipse Kapua™ 1.3.0

Eclipse Kapua 1.3.0 is aimed at improving and consolidating the following areas:

• Authentication and authorization
• Device Connectivity
• Test coverage

A total of 65 issues have been solved in this version. The most notable features and changes introduced by this release are:

• The authentication service supports Two Factor Authentication
• The authentication service allows per-account override of default minimal password length
• Delegated authentication has more detailed logging in order to trace interaction with external OpenID Connect Provider
• MQTT connections from other Kapua services have been moved to a dedicated internal endpoint
• More unit and integration tests have been added in order to increase the code coverage
