Compatibility
EMF-IncQuery 0.8.0 uses an updated project and generated code structure, which means, old projects need to be updated. However, pattern definitions created for previous versions should be reusable (after the project update) together with most of the code for integrating EMF-IncQuery to Eclipse applications. To ease the update process, an updater is planned.

Integration of EMF-IncQuery query based derived features into the Xcore project
Updated project structure and builders
The project builder and generated code structure of previous EMF-IncQuery versions caused slow builders, an inability to execute queries outside Eclipse applications and some bugs. In this release, a new project structure is introduced that is easier to integrate into various applications, and the builder is thoroughly reviewed to remove bugs and slowdowns.
Better Xtext compatibility
Previously, different versions of the code base were needed for different Xtext versions. Version 0.8 will work with Xtext 2.5 and the version available from the Luna repository.
