Ferdie Reijnen has been contributing to the Eclipse ESCET (Eclipse Supervisory Control Engineering Toolkit) project for over two months now.
For a list of commits covering the contributions, see https://gitlab.eclipse.org/eclipse/escet/escet/-/commits/develop?author…. This includes contributions to over 40 different issues. The various issues cover a wide range of aspects, from core algorithms to UI-related aspects, and from tests to documentation. Issues #25/#39 in particular were quite challenging due to their complexity. Furthermore, there have also been quite extensive and constructive discussions on the various issues in GitLab. For me, it has been a very pleasant experience working together on various issues, to achieve the best result.
In my opinion, Ferdie satisfies the nomination criteria as outlined for the Eclipse ESCET project, at https://gitlab.eclipse.org/eclipse/escet/escet/-/blob/develop/products/… (Section 'How to become a committer').
For these reasons and the positive long-term outlook for Ferdie's involvement on the team, it is my pleasure to nominate Ferdie Reijnen as a committer on the Eclipse Supervisory Control Engineering Toolkit (Eclipse ESCET) project.
