The PHP IDE project delivers a PHP Integrated Development Environment framework for the Eclipse platform. This project encompasses the development components necessary to develop PHP-based Web Applications and facilitates extensibility. It leverages the existing Web Tools Project in providing developers with PHP capabilities.
Release 3.2 is delivered for the Eclipse Kepler simultaneous release. There are a number of new features documented here and in the New and Noteworthy here: http://wiki.eclipse.org/PDT/NewIn32
The project leadership certifies that the APIs in this release are "Eclipse Quality".
There are no architectural issues.
There are no security issues.
Docs haven't been actively updated during this release.
No major changes there.
Nothing is end of lifed in this release.
Work on Zend Debugger theme involved updating PDT code base to minor Zend Debugger protocol changes.
Zend Technologies is actively involved in PDT development via it's committers and non-committers who contribute significant features.
There's stable group of passionate PDT contributors organized in PDT Extenders Group. They actively report bugs, adopt and test PDT, contribute patches via Eclipse PDT Github repository and bugzilla.
We have 3 active committers with vary amounts of activity as all of them are only part time working on PDT directly.
