Eclipse JKube 1.0.0 marks the first stable release for the project and the complete deprecation of Fabric8 Maven Plugin (FMP).
The release introduces:
- Complete replacement for Fabric8 Maven Plugin; every main feature from FMP has been ported.
- Base images completely replaced and updated to latest LTS JDK release (Java 11)
- S2I builds available for every Generator
- JIB build strategy support
- Many bug-fixes for issues introduced in FMP 4.x
