Matt has been an invaluable help on the Golang Paho client, contributing many PRs including major reworkings of some sections. Additionally he is often responding to issues raised by other users of the library assisting them with in depth debugging of their problems. His skill, knowledge and experience is much needed for maintenance of the v3 client and development of the v5 client.
